You can use facilitation skills in all kinds of settings and situations, such as

💡 team and board meetings
💡 offsites
💡 trainings
💡 workshops
💡 world cafes
💡 people’s assemblies
💡 conferences
and so much more……

🎯 The result? Better discussions, better relationships, better outcomes.

About this course

This course offers you a set of vital skills for facilitating all kinds of group meetings. It’s an inspirational course to develop your skills and presence in helping people to generate their own best thinking together in ways they never thought possible.

Based upon a central observation and decades of feedback from people that the quality of everything we do depends on the quality of the thinking we do first, it creates, intentionally, the best possible conditions in which people will think well. We call it a Thinking Environment.

In a Thinking Environment people become more creative, courageous, and connected. They become more confident in their own judgement, more likely to initiate and deliver without needing constant guidance, yet genuinely interested in others’ ideas. It literally transforms meetings.

As Faculty at Time to Think, I have been teaching this for over 15 years.

This course will:

  • Explore what a Thinking Environment is, how to create one with groups, and offer you eight different ways to make meetings effective as well as transformational.

  • Hone your ability to help others to achieve by drawing on their inherent resources, taking your own listening and presencing skills to new heights.

  • Demonstrate how well people can think deeply, independently as well as collaboratively when given the opportunity.

  • Give each participant the optional opportunity to facilitate an exercise with the group, and get feedback. This is “learning by doing” at its best!

  • Improve your confidence and skills in facilitating in person and online meetings, managing energy and engagement, working with different group sizes, addressing challenges, and much more.

  • Enable you to apply your learning immediately and use it to make a positive impact to make meetings really matter!

    The course includes:

  • Two days together offering highly interactive, experiential learning with lots of practice, for a group of up to 12.

  • A curated collection of online learning support materials (TED Talks, podcasts, articles, blogs) to download, plus the course manual.

  • Refreshments, snacks and nutritious vegetarian and vegan lunches on both days.

  • An authorised Time to Think Foundation Certificate of Completion.

  • Beautiful setting in nature, on an organic farm with nature trails, in a spacious barn room at The Fold - in the Malverns, Worcestershire WR6 5JB.
