The Thinking Partnership Programme for 1:1 work - 19/20 February 2025 in North Cotswolds / South Midlands, 21st March online

  • Shipston-on-Stour United Kingdom (map)

“The greatest thing I have ever done for myself is to learn how to think for myself. I began to do that at an early age but it’s really difficult to do that when there are things all around you telling you what to think. Capitalism is seductive. It limits your imagination and then tells you that you should feel free because you have choices, but your choices are limited to the products they put before you or to the limits of your now limited imagination. ”

— Benjamin Zephaniah

About the Programme

My Thinking Partnership is an inspirational course to develop your skills and presence in helping people - on a 1:1 basis - to generate their own best thinking in ways they never thought possible. It’s full of fresh learning and deep insight into how the human mind works for itself when one person listens to another think and talk, with the belief that the thinker is indeed highly capable - and will generate far better thinking, options, solutions and decisions than anyone else could ever do for them.

As one of the Time to Think global faculty, I have been teaching this course for 15 years and never fail to be inspired at the impact it has on the people who come, and the way they become with others. Because the course takes your listening skills to new heights. It offers you a completely new mindset - that being wholly present for another is one of the most valuable things you can do. It will help you to listen so that others want to talk; in short you’ll be and feel connected in whole new ways.

The Thinking Environment® provides unique conditions for people to think independently, identify their own inherent resources, resolve their own dilemmas, and more. And it’s highly likely that on this course you’ll make significant breakthroughs in your own life by experiencing what it’s like to truly think for yourself.

The Thinking Partnership course is a standalone course and also the prerequisite to go onto the Time to Think Coach course., should you wish to qualify at a later date.

Here’s what some recent delegates have said:

Reading Nancy Kline's brilliant books only takes you so far. Linda unlocks the profound meaning and every day application of being a 'Thinking Partner' through a very accessible and enjoyable programme.”

“As a counsellor this course has greatly enhanced the work that I do. There is something truly liberating about the giving and receiving of space in which to process your thoughts in your own time. I highly recommend this course, no matter what your background and Linda was so very supportive”.

“Linda has a wonderfully engaging style which makes working with her a pleasure, and the principles and practices of working in Thinking Environments are expertly and beautifully developed in her work.”

This course takes place over 2 days in person in the Cotswolds / Midlands borders (CV36) in February and then a month later, 1 day online. Each day starts at 09.30am and finishes at 4.30pm (GMT)

The course comprises of:

  • 1 x 1.5 hour 1:1 Live Thinking Session (for each person) with me - before the group events;

  • 2 days’ immersion in an in person workshop, with lots of experience and practice, in a beautiful country village setting;

  • Thinking Partnership practice sessions with fellow learners in between days 2 and 3;*

  • A raft of online learning support resources (course manual, exercises, TED Talks, articles, blogs), sent to you before and during the course ;

  • All refreshments, snacks and lunches over the two in-person days.

* There is a requirement for participants to have Thinking Partnership sessions (as Thinker and as Thinking Partner) with each other (online, by telephone or in person) over the course duration to embed your learning, deepen your experience and confidence in both Thinking Session roles.
